How much do the credit tokens and clips cost?
 
 Video on Demand (VOD) parts are good for 72 hours and are $3 (3 tokens) each.  Downloadable parts (unlimited viewing) are $9 (9 credit tokens) for Nonmembers and $5 (5 credit tokens) in the Members' Area and are purchased for unlimited viewing.

  Each video volume (around 40-50 mins) comes in four parts for easier and quicker downloading. Each part is around 9-12 minutes depending on the volume number. Specific information about each volume and part, such as duration and file size, can be seen by clicking on any individual volume number to your left. 
 
What is a Credit Wallet Account?
 
    A Credit Wallet account allows you to purchase and view videos.  You can set up an account by clicking on the "Buy Credits" account to the left. This will take you to a CCBill page which will verify your payment information.  THERE IS A 9 CREDIT MINIMUM PURCHASE, although you can purchase credits for as many clips as you like.  Purchased credits do not expire. After you set up your credit wallet account remember your username and password since they will be used to access and view the licensed videos. The credit wallets in the Nonmember's and Member's area are two SEPARATE accounts.  Funds between the two are not transferable. For example, if you are already PB member and want to view VODs, you will have to purchase new credits in the Nonmember's area.

Where are the VOD, Video Downloads, and Video Previews located on the site?
 
The Puffybeach VOD store is located in the public area for all visitors to the site.  Video Downloads are both in the public area and in the Members' Area, but at different prices ($9 non-member price versus $5 per part member price). Video previews for all parts and volumes are only in the Member's Area, click to join. PB Members should always purchase downloads in the Member's Area (logged in) to receive their discount.
 
What video format does PB use?
 
     PB uses WMV (Windows Media Player 8 or higher) encoded with Windows DRM (Digital Rights Management).  Videos are offered in two formats: first as VOD (Video on Demand), which you can view for 72 hours after purchase.  VOD videos are NOT downloadable.  Videos can also be purchased as Downloads both in the nonmembers, and in the members' area at a 45% discount.  PB members should always purchase credits in the members' area.  VIDEOS CAN ONLY BE VIEWED ON THE COMPUTER ON WHICH THEY WERE DOWNLOADED. If you make any significant changes to your hard drive, such as upgrades, you may lose the ability to play the videos. Videos cannot be uploaded or shared with others unless they have purchased their own licenses. This helps protect our exclusive clips from copyright infringement. What type of computer and connection will I need?
 
These video clips work best on a PC with Windows XP or Vista on a broadband connection. Download time depends entirely on your computer and connection, but generally one part of a full volume, a 9-12 minute clip, will take about 5-10 minutes to be fully downloaded.  HD clips in 1280x720, volumes #12 and up, will take longer.  Viewing may be difficult or not at all possible for MAC and dialup users.  If that is the case and you have already purchased token credits contact us for further options.
 
How do I view my clips?
 
First read the 6 EZ steps in the above left-hand corner of this page. Once you have purchased credit tokens, login to our Private Video Access section clicking the link to your left.  Click the Watch Now button on the right of the video part you wish to view. You will be prompted to use the credits you have purchased for VOD or downloads, and must enter your username and password for your license.  Then click PLAY.  Once you have done this the first time you can view downloadable clips as many times as you want --- you will not need an internet connection.  You can view VOD clips for 72 hours after purchase.

What if my "Watch Now" video (VOD streaming) doesn't work?
 
It may have to do with some of your computer settings or the Windows Vista operating system.  You can always right click "Save Target As" and download the file to your computer.  This should only take a few minutes, and you will be able to watch the clip as many times as you want for your allotted purchase time of 72 hours.

How do I unZip the "Download Now" video (zip) file I downloaded?
 
There are several ways to do this, we will explain 2 ways and provide suggestions to help you below:

1. Most Windows computers come with an automatic windows feature. If you "right click" over the zip file you've downloaded, you can then select open with "compressed zipped folders". Now "left mouse click" and windows will automatically display the WMV file for you to double click and view. (no unzipping required using this method).

2. If you do not have the above method available to you, you can download an unzip program like WinZip or WinRar or you may already have one of those or another unzip program installed. Once you have an unzip program installed, you simply double click the zip file you've download and the unzip program will ask you if you want to extract the file and where. Remember where you extract it to so you can then double click the WMV file to start viewing it.

I am a former member of PB and would like to download your new videos.  Do I have to join again? 

Yes and no. You will only ever have to join PB once to take advantage of ALL future video downloads at the member's rate. You will have to rejoin in order to access the member's download area and receive the member's price. You will also have to purchase a minimum of 10 download credits to establish a new download account.  We cannot credit an account until it is set up.  After doing this we will ADD 30 download credits ($30) to your account, basically refunding your subscription fee. You MUST send us your new username and password that you will be using in the download area, and any information (subscription number, approximate month and year, etc.) about your previous membership when you rejoin so that we may properly credit your account.
